If your body could talk, what would it say about you to you? Does it warn you of impending discomfort, pain, injury or illness?

When did listening to the signals your body sends you become a lost art? Why is it becoming common practice to stifle the bodies communication with us? So often in today’s society we ignore or put off issues of health because we fear them, they’re easier to ignore, and we procrastinate.

We’ve become stationary, stagnant creatures of habit. Ones who don’t often like being taken out of their comfort zone and we shy away from opposing views. Creatures capable of constant excuse making and limitless reasons to procrastinate. We believe health is too difficult or confusing so we choose to trust the professionals. We’ve chosen to believe that healthy habits won’t work for us because we’re battling faulty genetics.

Nothing in our lives will ever change out of desire alone. Until it becomes a necessity, a must in your life, you’ll be stuck in the same routine with the same internal conflict.  

Pain, discomfort, restriction are all signals your body is using to communicate all of its grievances with you. Don’t you think it’s time to start listening?

You can address pain and discomfort early with the right tools and training if you’re ready to listen to your body’s cues on what it needs. Don't be afraid to try new things and see what works for you.
